The Holy Spirit: Our Guide for Daily Living

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” –  John 14:26 (KJV)

Different groups or individuals organise tours to different countries, interesting sites, and places for leisure or educational purposes or a combination of both. In order to make the tour interesting and informative, a knowledgeable and experienced tour guide must be present to explain and guide persons. Thus, upon completion of the tour, both the organisers and the patrons are satisfied because their objectives were achieved.

As individuals, every day, we have to navigate the pathways of life’s journey, even though we are limited in our capacity as mere human beings. We are ignorant as it pertains to certain aspects of life. We experience challenges at times, and sometimes, we don’t know what to do and thus face stumbling blocks. If you are reading this and you can identify with what is being said, then you know for sure that you need help in this lifetime.

I am proposing to you, my brothers and sisters, that we all need someone to guide us daily. We do not need a normal tour guide but rather the ‘Life Guide’ to teach us all things, to help us achieve our goals, overcome obstacles and challenges, and, in general, live victorious lives.

Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are available to serve as our Guides in life, but first, we must be in the right relationship by surrendering our lives to Him (Jesus Christ) and accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour. Once we do this, we will have access to the Holy Spirit, Who was sent as our Comforter, Friend, and Paraclete.

Today, take responsibility for your life and tap into the Source (Holy Spirit) for guidance and direction.
